9:00 AM-Noon (Mon & Thurs): Kayak rentals for South Fork Splendor! The southern arms of Hebgen Lake are perfect for wildlife watching and exploring from the seat of a quiet and comfortable kayak. Beautiful mountain views too! We'll shuttle rentals (no shuttle fee) and provide basic instruction (if desired), then you can explore the area on your own. $39/single seat and $49/double seat kayak. ∆top

9:00 AM-Noon (Tues & Sat): Quake & Wake! Morning kayaking on the western end of Hebgen Lake. Learn about the 1959 earthquake that still ranks as one of the largest recorded in the US. See the evidence of its power as we paddle below the fault scarp and view the partly submerged remnants of historic buildings. Call to reserve your kayak! ∆top

1:00-4:00 PM (Tues & Sat): Kayak rentals available at Kirkwood marina, no shuttle fee, $39/single seat and $49/double seat kayak, includes orientation. Guided tour and/or basic instruction also available, $65/person including kayak and gear.. ∆top

5:00-8:00 PM (Mon): Wild Women & Waves! Meet at the Lava Creek building for Women's kayaking every Monday night. Learn about kayaking, explore new places, and meet new paddling partners. This is an informal gathering sponsored by Lava Creek to provide more opportunities for women to get on the water or to try kayaking for the first time. Need gear? Lava Creek is providing $25 rentals for first-timers that includes all the gear you'll need for a fun evening. ∆top

Join us for a trip to Cliff Lake, where the water has the beautiful blues and greens of the Bahamas, but in a spectacular mountain setting! Paddle, swim, play...It’s a one-of-a-kind! ∆top

This trip starts in West Yellowstone, and we'll take an interpretive geology tour through the Quake Lake canyon on the way to our launch site. The drive is great for spotting wildlife too! We often see eagles, moose, bighorn sheep, osprey, sometime bears and mountain goats, even the occasional family of otters! Lunch included. Yellowstone & kayaking or whitewater rafting combo trips

Spend the morning in Yellowstone exploring the geyser basins along the Firehole river and into Old Faithful. We'll travel by van and on foot to see some of the most spectacular hot springs and geysers to be found in Yellowstone. We'll have a picnic lunch, then we'll head back to West Yellowstone for a scenic kayak tour on the main arm of Hebgen Lake. ∆top

On Hebgen Lake, we'll explore the remnants of submerged buildings and learn about the 1959 7.2+ magnitude quake that caused the north shore of the lake to fall 20 feet. We'll paddle along the fault scarp and you'll hear about the wild things that happened on "The Night the Mountain Fell." We'll be on the water for about 3 hours. 8:00 AM-6:00 PM (Tues & Sat): Yellowstone Park & Paddle (Whitewater)! Spend the morning in Yellowstone exploring Norris Geyser Basin and the spectacular Mammoth Terraces. Norris is the most active geyser basin in Yellowstone, and Mammoth is arguably the most scenic. We'll have a picnic lunch, then take an exciting and fun whitewater raft ride down Yellowstone River rapids (kids love this trip! Ages 5 & up). We'll be on the water 2-3 hours. ∆top

On the return trip we'll watch wildlife as we drive through the beautiful Gardner, Gibbon, and Madison river canyons (your guide will have a spotting scope and binoculars for your use). Lunch is included.
